We can safely and effectively change gas valves or remove caps and plugs under ‘live’ conditions and our Live Service Isolation technique provides a safe method of severing a live gas steel service under regulated ‘live’ gas conditions. Metre exchange
Metre Exchange describes a safe and effective technique used by our Contract Service to safely and effectively exchange gas valves under regulated ‘live’ gas conditions.
Capex™
Capex™ is a technique used to remove caps and plugs under live gas conditions. It is a safe and expert method of interchanging Caps, Plugs and Emergency Control Valves without the need for cutting consumers off gas.
Live Service Isolation
The Live Service Isolation technique provides a safe method of severing a live gas steel service under regulated ‘live’ gas conditions. It is suitable for use on steel services between ¾” to 2” diameter operating at pressures up to 75mbar.
Repairs
Steve Vick International offer a service for customers wishing to repair leaking threaded joints on gas risers and other service pipes.
Injectaseal

Injector Seal System
The SVI Contract Service use an Injector Seal system to insert sealant into a leaking threaded joint. This system can be used on ¾” to 6” diameter pipework. There is no interruption to supply.
The method is extremely effective and prevents the need for live risers to be replaced, removing the need for consumers to be cut-off gas.
