Steve Vick Shortlisted for Prestigious IGEM & EUA Gas Awards

Steve Vick International, in collaboration with Wales & West Utilities, Morrison Utility Services and Thompson Utilities have entered the IGEM & EUA Gas Industry Awards 2019 and are delighted to have been shortlisted for Project of the Year for their record breaking ‘Live’ live mains insertion in Wickwar Road, Bristol.

The Wickwar Road project involved replacing approximately 4,200m of 12” cast iron with 250mm P.E and included a record breaking single insertion, for large diameter PE pipe, of 1,014m; a total of 84 x 12m sticks.

The IGEM & EUA Gas Industry Awards are the highlight of the year for the industry. It’s a time for reflection on all the hard work, innovations and projects we’ve been involved in and for the successful individuals and organisations to be recognised and rewarded.
