SVI Marks 20 Years of the Mini Purge Ejector

SVI is proud to celebrate 20 years of the Mini Purge Ejector, a compact and dependable tool that has become a staple in gas purging operations across the UK. Since its launch in 2005, more than 1,300 units have been supplied to gas networks and utilities contractors nationwide.

Developed as a practical alternative to the larger purge ejectors in use since the mid-1980s, the Mini Purge Ejector brought a more compact, lightweight design to the field — without compromising on performance. Built on the same proven Venturi principle, it delivers fast, clean, and effective purging for gas mains ranging from 75mm to 300mm (3″ to 12″) in diameter.
