SVI unveils SMARTester at AGSM Conference

Delegates and visitors at the Association of Gas Safety Managers (AGSM) National Conference & Exhibition in April will have an opportunity to try out the Steve Vick International (SVI) ground-breaking SMARTester™ wireless gas pressure sensor.

SVI is exhibiting for the first time at the AGSM conference – the UK’s only event dedicated to informing and supporting the role of compliance managers within the social housing sector. “This event will give us the opportunity to meet a key group of decision makers and influencers in this important sector”, says Katie Higgins, SVI Sales and Marketing Director.

The SMARTester™ is a wireless pressure testing system that gives you the reassurance of precise readings, a secure, searchable database and traceability at your fingertips.

Developed by SVI as a NIA development project with Wales & West Utilities, the SMARTester system is designed to drive competency and provide solid pressure test evidence. Using the gauge and SMARTester app, every step of a pressure test is recorded and instantly sent to the Cloud Dashboard.

The SMARTester gauge comprises a highly accurate stainless steel pressure sensor and the case is robust, waterproof (IP67) and built to withstand the challenges of life in the field.
Available for iOS and Android, the app clearly displays test pressure and captures information including time, date, GPS location and photos so you can capture who, what, where and when the test was carried out.

A bank of definitive test evidence is stored in the cloud Dashboard, it is here that managers can log in and see real-time pressure test data, share test certificates and remotely manage teams by monitoring monthly statistics.

SVI offers secure cloud data management, full UK support and a rolling calibration service. The App can be customised if required to suit customers’ existing management systems.
