Steve Vick Shortlisted for UK Energy Innovation Awards

Steve Vick International, in collaboration with Northern Gas Networks, have entered the UK Energy Innovation Awards 2019 and are delighted to be shortlisted for two categories, Best Innovation – Gas and Best Gas Network Improvement for the Enhanced SEAL technique.

Enhanced SEAL, a collaborative project between Steve Vick International and Northern Gas Networks, is an innovative technique which safely and efficiently abandons 100% of T1 mains. The technique vastly reduces disruption to the customer, reduces environmental impact through reducing the size of excavations and has saved over £3million in benefits to date.

The UK Energy Innovation Awards are a celebration of the sectors best innovations and a chance for the gas, water and electricity sectors to come together and celebrate the ideas and technologies that benefit customers, the environment, the industry and the supply chain. The shortlist is chosen by a panel of expert industry judges from across the utility industry and the winners unveiled at the awards ceremony and dinner in September.

The award ceremony takes place on the 26th September 2019 at the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.
