Steve Vick International expand its contracting fleet with 5 new Mercedes-Benz Vans

Trenchless technology specialist, Steve Vick International (SVI), has launched a new fleet of Mercedes-Benz 20th anniversary edition Sprinter vans. The newly-branded vehicles will provide customers with a reliable and efficient service and a safe modern environment for contract engineers.

The new vehicles will replace existing vans as well as increasing the contract engineering fleet to cater for the rising demand for SVI services, for example; Live Riser Transfer, Stub End Abandonment and pipe cutting.

There were a number of factors to take into account before purchasing the vehicles and of paramount importance were safety, emissions and after sales care.

Following careful consideration the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter model was chosen, and the supplier was local Mercedes-Benz dealer Rygor, www.rygor.co.uk. Rygor was able to offer a unique after sales care package, whereby any servicing and repairs could be completed out of hours, allowing SVI to continue to provide an uninterrupted service to its customers, nationwide.

The interior of the vans has been fitted with bespoke racking that is safe and appropriate for the type of work undertaken by engineers. Other features include; reverse camera, speed limiter and satellite navigation.

The exterior branding will be instantly recognisable to customers and the safety markings on the rear will ensure the public can easily see where work is taking place.
